I am very proud to show off the first official video of any Reef Project track. The title track from the Adrift album has a stunning video highlighting the vocals of Erin Powers. This video coincides with the release of the Adrift remixes that recently came out on System Recordings. Please take a few minutes and check it out. We hope you enjoy

Adrift Remix EP – Out Now On System Recordings

Reef Project - Adrift Remix EP

One of my favorite tracks to produce on the last Reef Project album was the the title song, Adrift. The track came about very naturally. I was pretty pleased with the song as a instrumental and was planning on it being just that. Then when Erin Powers came in to the studio to work on another track for the album, I ended up playing this one for her. She wanted to sing on it and I thought that this might take this track over the top. I gave her a copy on CD so she could have it. A week later she came and just knocked out an amazing vocal.

I always intended for this song to be remixed and actually did a house remix of it early in 2011. I then gathered the parts together and gave it to a few friends. The results is this EP that ranges from Chill Out to Breaks to Techno to House. It is great to see other people interpret the song in their own way. Remixers include Bitwise, Angel Alanis and Mondo G.
The remix EP is out now on Beatport and available on iTunes and Amazon on October 18th. Below is my house remix of Adrift. Hope you enjoy.
